Critics have slammed Deji’s “shameful” TKO victory over Dawood Savage, labeling it “rigged”.
YouTuber Deji secured a win against Savage in the third round of their undercard fight at Misfits’ event in Qatar on Thursday evening.
Deji appeared focused on business as the four two-minute rounds began.
However, the fight took a sudden turn when Savage landed the first significant blow.
What should have been an uncomplicated match turned into chaos.
Deji, returning after an 18-month break, did not impress against an opponent without any wins.
The 27-year-old, sibling of KSI, managed to floor his rival in the third round, but it was not acknowledged as a knockdown.
Savage collapsed under apparent pressure, claiming to have suffered an injury before the bout was stopped.
Viewers on Misfits have criticized the fight as “rigged.”
One user observed: “This was orchestrated to give Deji another victory. Totally embarrassing match.”
