Johannesburg – The fuel pumping issue, which stemmed from a faulty valve and resulted in several flights being grounded at OR Tambo International Airport on Monday, has now been fixed.
The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) announced on Monday evening that the fuel system is now “fully operational.”
Earlier that day, ACSA had identified refueling challenges that led to the grounding of multiple flights.
