Durban – A man has tragically lost his life due to a car accident on the M1 West Bound close to the unit 3 offramp in Chatsworth, located south of Durban.
According to spokesperson Garrith Jamieson, ALS Paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after 16:30 on Friday, (20 December 2024).
“Upon reaching the location, paramedics found that a single vehicle had veered off the road and lost control,” Jamieson reported.
“They discovered the driver, who was the only occupant of the car, inside with critical injuries.”
“Unfortunately, there was nothing that paramedics could do for the man, who is believed to be in his thirties, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Jamieson mentioned that the details surrounding the crash are currently unclear.
The South African Police Service was also present at the scene.
