Durban – A shooting event on Riverside Road in Durban North has claimed the life of one person.
As reported by ALS Paramedics Medical Services, the incident took place shortly after 07:00 on the morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024.
When they arrived at the scene, ALS Paramedics noted that officers from the South African Police Service and various security personnel were already on-site.
“Paramedics were directed to a male, thought to be in his 30s, who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds,” said ALS Paramedics.
“Unfortunately, there was nothing more that paramedics could do, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
At this time, the events leading up to the deadly shooting remain unclear.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
