The original video shared on his Instagram story showcased the American golfer teeing off by striking a golf ball over a street toward some buildings while enjoying a cigarette.
Fortunately, he glanced back to check for oncoming cars before making the shot, much to the amusement of his cheering friends.
Daly, recognized for his iconic grey hair, bushy beard, and flashy gold shoes, celebrated with enthusiastic high-fives from his friends.
He captioned the video on his Instagram story: “Teein’ it into 2025…”
The clip featured his popular song, “Hit It Hard.”
Daly later posted another video.
In the subsequent clip, he sat at a table surrounded by friends and his 21-year-old son John II, where they cracked open cans of beer.

The friends punctured their cans and chugged the beers through the openings, a technique knowns as shotgunning.
However, Daly finished last and joked, “Yeah, I lost by a lot… kinda expected.”
