Reports suggest that LIVERPOOL is open to allowing Federico Chiesa to leave on loan this month.
Chiesa, who transferred from Juventus last summer for a fee that could amount to £12.5m, has found it challenging to secure consistent playing time at The Reds.

The Italian winger has faced a series of injuries and fitness problems, restricting him to just four appearances under Arne Slot since his move to Merseyside.
Out of those appearances, two were in the Carabao Cup, one in the Champions League, and he made a brief 18-minute substitute appearance in the Premier League.
According to Foot Mercato, Chiesa is keen on a loan move from Liverpool to gain more consistent playing time.
Italian national team coach Luciano Spalletti has reportedly advised the 27-year-old that he could be recalled to the national squad if he rejuvenates his performance back in Italy.
Current Serie A leaders Napoli, managed by Antonio Conte, are reportedly leading the race for his loan deal.
While Fiorentina and Inter are also showing interest, Napoli appears most likely to succeed in acquiring his services.
Reports indicate that Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani, has met with Liverpool representatives and reached an agreement to facilitate the forward’s loan this month.
However, various potential challenges may arise during negotiations.

Chiesa’s reported weekly salary of £150,000 is complicating matters, even as Liverpool acknowledges the need to cover some of the Italian’s wages.
Furthermore, Napoli wishes to incorporate a purchase option into the loan deal, which Liverpool is hesitant to accept.

In the coming days, Napoli is expected to submit a six-month loan proposal as discussions continue among all involved parties.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot has faced questions regarding Chiesa’s lack of playing time recently, attributing it to fitness issues.
He stated: “Federico, as I’ve mentioned multiple times, we are focusing on two main areas: improving his match fitness and gradually integrating him into the team.”
“He has been on the bench lately, but we deemed it more beneficial for him to partake in extra training sessions instead of joining the squad.”
“Finding the right balance between enhancing his fitness and including him in the team’s dynamics is crucial.”
Chiesa’s contract with Liverpool extends until the summer of 2028.
Any buy-option embedded in a loan agreement would likely need to exceed the £12.5m Liverpool initially invested last summer for the club to entertain a transfer.
