Concerns are mounting regarding potential conflicts with local ultras, stemming from previous violent incidents during the Euro 2024 encounters between the teams.

Superintendent Gareth Parkin, leading the UK police delegation, remarked: “Local authorities view this as a high-risk situation.”

The stadium will operate at 85% capacity due to disciplinary measures related to racist behavior in a prior match.

Fans are advised to remain in designated tourist areas.

Superintendent Parkin continued: “Local authorities have assured us that a robust policing plan is in place to ensure the safety of visitors.”

“They manage intense local derbies and handle various European matches effectively.”

“We are devoted to doing all we can to protect the 2,500 England supporters attending the game.”

“Our recommendation is to stay in prominent tourist areas and observe local customs.”

“We are fully aware of the Ultras.”

“Local authorities have indicated their attentiveness to our concerns.”
