The former Manchester United manager was leading the Wunderteam against Bosnia and Herzegovina when he chose to ride the bicycle.

At 67 years old, Rangnick was seen swiftly moving across the field at Stadion Bilino Polje during the half-time break.
The coach passed all the players before dismounting just before heading into the tunnel.
While Rangnick was biking, Bosnia’s coach Sergej Barbarez was seen walking and acknowledging the home supporters.
This unusual event had an important reason, as Rangnick recently underwent emergency ankle surgery over the summer.
His initial surgery went well, but complications arose due to an infection.
Rangnick had to return to the hospital for a follow-up operation.
He is currently managing his recovery with an emphasis on limiting his mobility.
However, he likely had a reason to celebrate after Austria’s 2-1 triumph in their World Cup qualifier.
